Jiayi Jinshi Guangfu Temple
The Jinshi Guangfu Temple in Jiayi County, located in Zhuqi Township, is a historic and significant religious center. It primarily enshrines the Saint King of Kaizhang (開漳聖王), a key deity introduced by the local Hakka immigrants from Zhangzhou, Fujian. The temple’s architecture features traditional Southern Chinese craftsmanship, incorporating intricate jiannian (cut-and-paste porcelain figures), Koji pottery, and wood carvings. It serves not only as a spiritual anchor for residents but also as a crucial cultural asset documenting the history of Jinshi Village.
